Spinal Decompression

DRX9000c - Spinal DecompressionSpinal decompression is a highly advanced, powerful, non-surgical technology that can help to treat back pain. Whether you suffer from bulging discs, a herniated disc, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, or lower back pain, this innovative treatment can help to achieve your freedom from back pain and back disease.

With spinal decompression therapy, you can avoid invasive back surgery, with its accompanying risks and side effects. Instead, the DRX9000 offers a state-of-the-art solution for pain relief without surgery.

what is back pain - Spinal DecompressionThis FDA-approved treatment begins with the stretching of the spine. The specially created traction device helps to reduce pressure in the discs of the spine. This traction therapy can help to promote the repositioning of damaged or bulging discs and allow easier healing of damaged or injured spinal tissue. It also allows space for oxygen, nutrients, and other materials required for healing to enter the spinal disc areas.

Powerful Non-Surgical Treatment

With the DRX9000, the patient lays face up on a table as a harness is placed around their hips and attached near the feet. While the upper part of the DRX9000 remains in place, the lower part slides back and forth. This treatment makes use of traction to elongate the spine in a gentle, slow manner. This increases the spaces between each vertebrae and disc of the spine.

With the precise work of the DRX9000, risk of injury or damage to the spine is eliminated. Spinal decompression therapy is pain-free throughout the treatment, which is computer-controlled. Trained professionals program the spinal decompression device to ensure the best results.

Address Back Pain with Spinal Decompression

This therapy can help to treat degenerative disc disease as well as herniated or otherwise injured discs. It has also shown strong results in the treatment of sciatica and other back conditions. Spinal disc injuries are behind a large number of patients’ back pain and leg pain, and the compression created by daily activities increases the pressure inside your spine. This treatment uses distraction, traction, and the positioning of your body to decompress the discs of the spine.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Treatment Plans

Spinal decompression therapy usually includes approximately 15 days of daily treatment sessions with the DRX9000. These are followed by another five to 15 treatment sessions spaced out over a three-week period. You can receive spinal decompression therapy right at our office; there’s no need to go to the hospital for this treatment.

This therapy has been widely studied for its effectiveness and safety in treating back pain. Multiple clinical trials have shown that 86 percent of participants were able to successfully report a solution to their pain with the spinal decompression treatment. 90 percent of those successful outcomes included long-lasting success in freedom from back pain, lasting for greater than 90 days. A number of scientific, academic and industry papers, and journal reports have also been written to discuss the effectiveness and practice of spinal decompression treatment.
